  21. Errr. 10 million (USD) is nothing. They're talking losses of 85 million.

  23. Yep, on friday they announced that the losses would be much higher. Not good
  24. news. Apparently they're in the process of getting loans from banks and
  25. selling 'licenses' <horror> and such forth to pay their way back to
  26. viability.

  28. This may, in part, count for the wild rumours circulating at the moment.
  29. It's giving me a headache sorting the truth from the crap.

  31. One thing IS for sure, it's quite possible Escom could sell the Amiga.
  32. They've been selling other assets and with such losses presented to the
  33. shareholders, they may be under presure to cut out any parts of the business
  34. that aren't firmly in profit. I'm afraid AT is definately one of those parts
  35. (not to be cut but not making a profit).

  37. Having said that, their shareprices rose greatly on Monday with the other
  38. financial stuff they've performed. Maybe they wont need to sell AT, maybe
  39. they have and it's not public knowledge yet. Whatever, these are certainly
  40. interesting times.

  42. Oh yes, everyone should check the AT home page. A new press release has some
  43. specs on the 'next' Amiga to be previewed at Cebit etc.
